OYRTMA Chairman Pays Courtesy Visit to Oyo Police Commissioner

Today the 19th of May, 2025, the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority OYRTMA, Maj. Adesagba Adekoya Rtd, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police at the State Police Command Headquarters, Eleyele.

The crux of the courtesy visit at a round table meeting with the Commissioner of Police, CP Johnson Ademola, was all about the menace of the motorbike riders popularly known as okada rider.

The evil perpetrated by some disgruntled element disguising as commercial  bike rider of robbing unsuspected innocent people of their valuables is getting to an alarming rate couple with the fact that same motorbikes are found of breaking traffic rules and regulations such as , Directional violation, overloading of passengers on bike and other traffic offences.

The Commissioner warmly received the OYRTMA Chairman to an executive reception and modernity and strategies was fashioned out to effects an immediate operation.
