Co-operate with local, national, international body agencies or groups engaged in road safety activities.

Provision of Facilities

Including the provision of facilities for training, education and research opportunities.

Road Safety Clubs

Support and encourage the establishment and operation of road safety clubs in schools which will serve as an avenue for the acquisition of road safety culture by teenager and youths.


Provide facilities for training, education and research on roads transportation.

Traffic Management

Identify, develop, promote and maintain new or alternative methods of traffic management and road safety.


Provide telephone accessible emergency towing services for breakdown vehicles.

Testing Methods

Employ mobile and random breath testing methods to detect and deter drunk driving.

Children Safety

Safeguard school children through school children crossing and school site signs.

Property Agreement

Enter into agreement with any person for the supply, construction, capacity building, manufacture, maintenance or repair of any property whether movable or not.

Pedestrian Safety

Safeguard vehicles and pedestrians in the construction zones, highways and street.

Prevention and Control

Prevent and control the erection of bill boards, advertisement materials and other facilities whose erection along traffic routes may obstruct.
