Operation Aims to Restore Order and Safety on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

The joint operation conducted on April 2, 2025, by Oyo State Road Traffic Management Authority, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigeria Police Force, Environmental officials, and Operation Burst. The operation was led by Executive Adviser on Security to the Governor and OYRTMA Chairman Major Adekoya Adesagba Retired. The operation aimed to restore order and safety along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The operation targeted illegal structures, sanitizes, and roadside traders between Tollgate and Onigari, resulting in demolitions and displacements.
